The portfolio of intellectual property objects of the holding's enterprises reached almost 2.6 thousand units by the end of 2021
Moscow. February 28. INTERFAX - Scientists of the Scientific and Production Association "State Institute of Applied Optics" (NPO HYPO) have developed and patented a new technical solution consisting in increasing the reflection coefficient of an optical mirror in all working spectral ranges, the press service of the Shvabe Holding, which includes the enterprise, reports.
"The development relates to the field of instrumentation and can potentially be used as an optical element in the composition of laser technology operating at a wavelength of 10.6 microns. And at the same time - in various optoelectronic devices for a wide range of spectrum," the message said on Monday.
According to the press service, the peculiarity of the invention is that the reflective layer of the mirror is made of a thin film of aluminum and copper alloy with a thickness of 200-400 nm, and the protective layer is made of lutetium oxide with a thickness of 100-250 nm.
"The reflection coefficient of the proposed optical mirror is 0.1-0.4% higher in the visible, medium and far spectral IR ranges than that of the prototype. In addition, gold, which is a precious metal, is used in the reflective layer of the prototype. Aluminum and copper used in the reflective layer of the proposed optical mirror are ten times cheaper," said Villen Baloev, Director General of the NGO HYPO, quoted by the press service.
