Prime Minister Mishustin announced a plan to support the Russian economy in the face of sanctions
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the government's plan to rescue both the Russian economy and its support in the face of sanctions. His statement is given in the Telegram channel of the government.
According to Mishustin, the sanctions pressure on Russia is growing. At the same time, Moscow perceives the restrictions imposed as unfriendly actions on the part of the United States, EU countries and some other states, whose main goal is "to cause damage in one direction or another."
"We have no illusions about such actions for a long time. Therefore, we prepared and made a number of decisions in order to mitigate the consequences for the economy and for people as much as possible," Mishustin said.
The measures, according to him, will primarily affect the technical aspects of cash flow and the development of projects to replace imported components. "It is important now to react promptly to changes, to act actively, efficiently, without failures," Mishustin said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers, calling for monitoring the situation in real time in each direction.
Russia has faced sanctions from the European Union, the United States, Great Britain, Japan and some other countries. In particular, they touched upon the ban on foreign exchange transactions of some banks, the blocking of personal assets of officials and businessmen, as well as the ban on the supply of certain components to Russia.
