In France, more than 9,5 thousand military personnel will be mobilized or put on alert due to the situation in Ukraine.

According to the French edition, another fifteen hundred soldiers will take part in missions to strengthen the eastern flank of NATO. So, 500 French soldiers will be deployed in Romania.
Another 300 French military personnel are already in Estonia, 100 people will arrive there accompanied by four Mirage 2000-5 fighters, which, according to a military source, are designed to strengthen the air defense of the Baltic States. In addition, 600 French soldiers are taking part in flights over Poland.
Earlier, AFP, citing the Elysee Palace, reported that France intends to increase the supply of military equipment to Ukraine. According to the publication, Paris decided to deliver additional military equipment to Kiev, as well as fuel support.
