Nur-Sultan. February 28. INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN - The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has denied information about the sending of Kazakh servicemen to Ukraine and assured that such a request was not received by the department.
"The information disseminated on social networks regarding the alleged sending of Kazakh servicemen to Ukraine does not correspond to reality. The request to send Kazakh servicemen to Ukraine or any other country has not been received, respectively, and is not being considered," the official comment of the defense ministry said on Monday night.
The Ministry of Defense noted that measures to increase combat readiness and combat training of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, related to the movement, training, training of personnel, are carried out as planned.
"Meanwhile, we inform you that in the direction from Western Kazakhstan to the southern part of the country, from February 25 to March 3 of this year, a planned movement of military equipment by rail is being carried out for repair work," the press release says.
