Moscow. February 27. INTERFAX - The Russian Defense Ministry reported that there are dead and wounded among Russian servicemen in Ukraine, but the losses of the Ukrainian army and nationalist formations are higher.
"Russian servicemen show courage and heroism during the performance of combat tasks of a special military operation. Unfortunately, our comrades have been killed and wounded," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday.
"But our losses are many times less than the destroyed nationalists. And losses among the servicemen of the Ukrainian armed forces," he said.
Konashenkov said that since the beginning of the military operation, 1067 objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine have been hit by the Russian Armed Forces.
"Among them are 27 control points and communication centers of the Armed forces of Ukraine, 38 anti-aircraft missile systems of air defense: S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa, as well as 56 radar stations," the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said.
"Just today, seven anti-aircraft missile systems were destroyed, including one S-300 near the city of Kramatorsk. Three Bayraktar TB-2 attack unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the suburbs of Chernihiv," Konashenkov said.
He said that since the beginning of the operation, 254 Ukrainian tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 31 aircraft on the ground, 46 multiple rocket launchers, 103 field artillery and mortars, 164 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
"The grouping of troops of the Luhansk People's Republic, with the fire support of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, has successfully advanced into the enemy's defense by another 4 kilometers," Konashenkov said.
"The units of the Donetsk People's Republic, having overcome the resistance of nationalist units, advanced another 6 kilometers. The settlements of Nizhny, Granitnoye and Gnutovo have been liberated," he said.
Konashenkov said that the Russian army treats Ukrainian prisoners of war with respect.
"As for the Ukrainian prisoners of war, we will continue to treat with dignity all the servicemen of the Ukrainian armed forces who have laid down their weapons. We understand that they took an oath to the people of Ukraine. All those who have laid down their arms and stopped resisting will be returned to their families," he said.
"But we know how the Ukrainian Nazis treat the few captured Russian servicemen. And we see that the tortures and tortures are the same as those of the German Nazis and their henchmen-policemen in the Great Patriotic War. I want to emphasize. All faces, voices, phones, their coordinates, IP addresses, as well as correspondence of all Ukrainian Nazis involved in the mockery of our comrades are recorded and identified," Konashenkov said.
