Moscow. February 27. INTERFAX - The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia issued a warning that providing any assistance to a foreign state during a special operation to protect the DPR and LPR will be regarded as treason to the Motherland.
"For each fact of providing financial and other assistance to a foreign state in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation, a legal assessment will be given," the supervisory authority said in a statement.
It is noted that "the provision of financial, logistical, consulting or other assistance to a foreign state, international or foreign organization or their representatives in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation contains signs of a crime under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason)."
