MOSCOW, Feb 27 - RIA Novosti. The Russian army has destroyed 975 objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Igor Konashenkov, told reporters.
"To date, the Russian Armed Forces have hit 975 objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine," he said.
"Among them are 23 control points and communication nodes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three radar posts, 31 S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa anti-aircraft missile systems, 48 radar stations. Eight combat aircraft and seven helicopters, 11 unmanned aerial vehicles, two Tochka-U tactical missiles were shot down," Konashenkov added.
Also, according to him, "223 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 28 aircraft (on the ground), 39 multiple rocket launchers, 86 field artillery and mortars, 143 units of special military vehicles were destroyed."
