Moscow. February 26. INTERFAX - In Syria, militants delivered containers with a toxic substance, possibly with chlorine, to Idlib, Rear Admiral Oleg Zhuravlev, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in the SAR, said at a briefing on Saturday.
"According to the Syrian special services, containers with a toxic substance, presumably chlorine, were delivered to the settlement of Kafer Lusin in Idlib province by the militants of the Jabhat Al-Nusra group (banned in the Russian Federation - IF). Due to careless handling during transportation, one of the cylinders was severely damaged. Due to the leakage of a toxic substance, about 15 terrorists received chemical burns to their skin and respiratory tract," Zhuravlev said.
