Prague. February 26. INTERFAX - The Czech government on Saturday decided to provide Ukraine with weapons worth 188 million Czech crowns (7.6 million euros), Czech radio reports.
According to him, we are talking about various small arms and ammunition.
The Czech Defense Ministry will immediately deliver the cargo to the place indicated by the Ukrainian side, the radio notes.
It reminds that a convoy of trucks with weapons and ammunition from Poland arrived in Ukraine at night.
Earlier on Saturday, the British TV channel Sky News, citing the head of the British Ministry of Defense Ben Wallace, reported that at least 28 countries, including non-NATO members, announced the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
In the list, which the TV channel does not fully cite, mentioning only the United States and Great Britain, there are also countries that previously opposed such a step.
In particular, we are talking about the supply of anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons.
The Polish information portal Gazeta on Saturday night, with reference to journalist Julian Repke from the German edition of Bild, reported on five NATO countries that agreed to supply weapons to Ukraine. According to him, deliveries began on Thursday.
