Russia and Sudan will develop cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres

MOSCOW, February 26. /tass/. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and Sudan confirmed their intention to continue mutually beneficial cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres. This was stated to journalists on Saturday in the Russian military department.

"A meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Alexander Fomin, and the Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council of the Republic of Sudan, Colonel-General Muhammad Daglo," the military department said.

During the talks, the sides exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and Africa, and also confirmed the intention to continue mutually beneficial cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres.
