Moscow. February 26. INTERFAX - The development of the situation in connection with Russia's special military operation in Ukraine was discussed by phone on Saturday by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, the Kremlin's press service reports.
"Sadyr Zhaparov, noting Kiev's responsibility for the breakdown of the Minsk agreements, expressed support for the decisive actions of the Russian side to protect the civilian population of Donbass. Vladimir Putin thanked the President of Kyrgyzstan for the principled solidarity position," the message reads.
The mutual commitment to the comprehensive strengthening of Russian-Kyrgyz relations of strategic partnership and alliance was confirmed, the press service added.
