The Ministry of Defense of Russia denied the information that appeared about the alleged "hacking" by hackers of the official departmental website.
The Ministry of Defense called the distributors of such a rumor in social networks "sofa fighters for the help of Ukraine." "In fact, the information about the hacking of the Russian Defense Ministry's website by the hacker group Apopumos and the alleged theft of personal data of employees is a primitive fake to the point of laughter," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
So, the mentioned lists of personal data of military personnel who were "stolen" are not stored on the servers of the site in principle, the military explained. Since this is prohibited by Russian law, but Ukrainians were apparently unaware of this.
The mockery in the military department was also caused by the allegedly "stolen list", among which, for example, IP Maslenkova Natalia Ivanovna is listed. "For the information of Ukrainian fake (de) generators, the abbreviation IP in Russia denotes individual entrepreneurs," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
"All technical and software tools of the Internet portal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation function with the specified parameters in the normal mode," the military department concluded.
