Saab has introduced a new 5G Deployet communication system
Saab has introduced a new 5G Deployet secure communications system for the military. The development was presented at the Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference 2022 (UMEX) in Abu Dhabi. This is reported by Army Recognition.
The system is compact, which causes rapid deployment. 5G Deployet provides high bandwidth and secure data transmission in remote areas. The communication system is designed to provide reconnaissance and rescue missions.
It is noted that the DeployNet equipment allows you to transmit data and stream a high-resolution video signal. The system includes a base station, a power supply, an antenna unit and user equipment.
In February, Izvestia, citing a source in the defense Department, reported that the Western Military District would be strengthened with new electronic warfare (EW) equipment. The new battalions will receive the "Inhabitant", "Leer" and "Borisoglebsk-2" complexes.
In January, it became known about the beginning of the development of a new communication terminal for American aircraft. The system will allow transmitting data to the satellite at a speed of ten gigabits per second.
