The groups of the DPR and LPR troops continue counter-offensive actions against the AFU units with the fire support of the Russian army.
This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Igor Konashenkov, noting that "currently, mainly armed groups of nationalists are resisting in the area of hostilities. The servicemen of the Ukrainian armed forces try to evade military clashes and agree on corridors for leaving the operation zone without weapons."
He noted that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu "gave special orders to all unit commanders to treat Ukrainian servicemen with respect."
"The order emphasizes, taking into account the fact that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, unlike the nationalists, took an oath to the Ukrainian people and obeyed orders, treat them with respect. To work out the creation of safe corridors for the safe exit of Ukrainian servicemen who have laid down their arms from the areas of the operation to their families," Konashenkov said.
