The Ministry of Defense of Russia has distributed video footage taken immediately after the clash of our servicemen and border guards with saboteurs who tried to enter the territory of our country on two infantry fighting vehicles. The incident was reported today by the press service of the Southern Military District (SE) and the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.
It was reported that the border patrol of the FSB of Russia discovered the penetration of a sabotage and reconnaissance group from the territory of Ukraine. Two infantry fighting vehicles of the Armed forces of Ukraine entered the territory of the Russian Federation through our state border. "In order to detain the sabotage group, the border guard of the FSB of Russia requested reinforcement from the unit of the Southern Military unit allocated for operational cover of the state border. During the clash, both Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed by fire from anti-tank weapons," the press service of the Southern Military District reported.
5 saboteurs were killed. Another one, as it became known later, survived and was captured. On the Russian side, not a single serviceman, not a single border guard, fortunately, was injured.
