Hong Kong. February 21. INTERFAX - The Ministry of Unification of the two Koreas called on the DPRK to return to dialogue, Yonhap reports.
"We once again call on North Korea to choose the path of dialogue and cooperation for the sake of peace and stability on the Korean peninsula," said the official representative of the Ministry of Unification Affairs Lee Jong-joo.
According to her, the South Korean side is closely monitoring the actions of the North.
"The Unification Ministry is closely monitoring North Korea's actions, preparing for all options, instead of jumping to conclusions about the North's next steps," she said.
Pyongyang has launched seven missiles this year. The last launch of a medium-range ballistic missile took place on January 30.
