Military training of reservists in Russia is conducted annually. 2022 will not be an exception. By presidential decree, some reserve officers and soldiers will be temporarily summoned to the Armed Forces, state security agencies and the Federal Security Service.
All issues of the organization and conduct of military training are described in detail in a special Provision. The document says that the conscription of citizens for military training is carried out by military enlistment offices. The duration, place and time of the fees are determined by the Ministry of Defense and other law enforcement agencies, where military service is provided by law. At the same time, the Regulation strictly limits the duration of military training to two months. And the total time that a person spends on military training during the entire period of being in reserve cannot exceed one year.
The fees of the assigned personnel are divided into training and verification. The first ones take place in military units, where reservists are temporarily appointed to positions corresponding to their military accounting specialties. Training camps can still be held in the form of training sessions with full-time reservists. This is necessary to maintain the army skills of people who have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense to stay in the mobilization reserve.
In addition, there are fees associated with the training of citizens in military accounting specialties and military positions, or with the maintenance of material assets of the inviolable reserve. As for the verification fees, the combat and mobilization readiness of military units and military enlistment offices is assessed there. That is, their ability to perform their functions in a special period - during or on the eve of war.
The Regulation says that the average salary at the main place of work is maintained for the period of storage fees. In addition, they are charged monetary allowances and payments due to contract servicemen. Travel expenses are paid by the state.
Those who have received a summons for military training must arrive at the place indicated there within two days. Failure to show up there without a valid reason is subject to a fine.
