MOSCOW, February 18. /tass/. Russian marine units destroyed a conditional band with the help of Flame grenade launchers at the exercises "Allied Determination - 2022" in Belarus. This was reported to journalists by the Russian Defense Ministry on Friday.
"During the training battle, grenade throwers as part of the Marine Corps fire support groups destroyed a conditional illegal armed formation (IAF) that attempted to break through from the flank of motorized rifle and engineering units. The shooting was carried out from automatic grenade launchers AGS-17 "Flame", which are in service with the marines," the military department said.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the exercises of the Marines were held at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground in cooperation with combined arms units.
"In total, within the framework of combat firing, grenade throwers successfully solved more than 30 firing tasks with a change of firing positions," the defense ministry added.
