New York (UN). February 18. INTERFAX - The UN has received documents from Russia on crimes against civilians in the Donbas, the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric said.
"The Russian Federation sent a letter to the Secretary General (Antonio Guterres - IF) on this issue (...), and they asked us to distribute it in the Security Council, which we are doing. We have no way to verify this one way or another," Dujarric said during a press conference.
Speaking about the situation around Ukraine, the representative of the Secretary General noted that the UN still believes in the need to strengthen diplomacy.
