Putin awarded general ranks to 26 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

24 colonels received the rank of Major General, and two captains of the 1st rank received rear admirals

MOSCOW, February 17. /tass/. Russian President Vladimir Putin by decree awarded the general ranks to 26 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, according to a document published on the official portal of legal information.

Twenty-four colonels received the rank of Major General, and two captains of the 1st rank - rear admiral. In addition, four senior officers received the rank of Lieutenant General, and one rear admiral - Vice Admiral.

Four servicemen of the Rosgvardiya received the military ranks of Major General, and one - Lieutenant General. Six employees of the Rosgvardiya troops were awarded the rank of Major General of the police.

In addition, six employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received the ranks of Lieutenant-General and Major-General of police, and two - major-generals of justice.
