Also on Thursday, military echelons with heavy military equipment of the units of the Southern Military District, who worked out tasks at training grounds in the Crimea, were transferred by rail over a distance of more than 1.5 thousand kilometers to permanent deployment points in the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Dagestan.
Railway echelons with armored vehicles of units of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District, who performed combat training tasks at training grounds in the Kursk and Bryansk regions, arrive at their military garrisons in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
"Military units and subunits working out tasks as part of the reaction forces of the Union State within the framework of the ongoing Russian-Belarusian exercise "Allied Determination-2022" on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on February 19 will conduct practical jokes with live firing at the ranges of the republic," the general said.
