MOSCOW, Feb 17 - RIA Novosti. Russia will decide for itself how and in what ways to ensure its security, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"When the same Americans say to the Germans and other Europeans: "No, you don't know what is needed for your energy security. Therefore, we will tell you whether it is necessary or impossible to introduce Nord Stream 2... When they say to the Germans, "we know better what you need in winter, summer and autumn." They also tell us: "Why are you promoting your initiatives, no one and nothing threatens your security," Lavrov told reporters after talks with Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio.
"Let's still respect each other. And Russia will definitely decide for itself how and by what means to ensure its security," the Russian minister urged.
