The air defense units of the Eastern Military District (VVO) and the Armed Forces of Belarus in the framework of the joint exercises "Allied Determination - 2022" repelled an air strike of a conditional enemy. This was reported to journalists on Wednesday in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"During the exercises, the units of the radio engineering troops found air targets at maximum range. Information about the detected targets was automatically sent to the air defense command post, where it was distributed between the anti-aircraft missile divisions S-300 of the Republic of Belarus and S-400 of the Eastern Military District," the ministry said.
It is noted that after obtaining the coordinates of the targets, calculations of anti-aircraft missile systems and systems captured, escorted air targets and destroyed them by performing electronic missile launches.
