Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces Russia continues to be on combat duty during the joint operational exercise "Allied Resolve-2022", which has been going on for a week at the training grounds of Belarus, the Military department of the Republic of Belarus clarified.
According to the Ministry's operational data, units of the special operations forces of Belarus and the Russian Airborne Forces are engaged in the protection of objects in the Gomel area, solving issues of blocking and destroying sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a conditional enemy and an illegal armed formation.
At the same time, the Belarusian units of the mechanized brigade at the Gozhsky training ground are working out the issues of destroying a simulated enemy wedged into the defense and conducting raid operations. Blocking and destruction of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and illegal armed formations is also carried out at the Brest training ground by special operations forces of the Armed Forces.
And in the Baranovichi area, parts of the mechanized brigade of Belarus and units of the Russian Marine Corps are conducting a training battle on defensive lines. In parallel, air defense units are working out issues of covering troops from enemy air attack attacks.
A training battle is also taking place in the area of the Osipovichi locality, where the servicemen of the Airborne Troops of the Russian Federation, missile troops and artillery of both countries are tasked with destroying the tactical air assault of a conditional enemy.
Anti-aircraft missile units of Russia at the Luninets site continue to provide anti-aircraft cover for troops, solving the tasks of combat duty on air defense. And the Russian airborne assault aviation is working out issues of aviation support for the defending troops with the use of aviation weapons at the Ruzhansky aviation range and the Osipovichsky range.
In the area of the Gomel locality, units of the special operations forces of Belarus and the Russian Airborne Forces are engaged in the protection of facilities, working out issues of blocking and destroying sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a conditional enemy and an illegal armed formation.
And in the "Mozyr" and "Rechitsa" sections, motorized rifle units of the Russian Federation are located in areas of concentration, preparing to perform tasks for their intended purpose, working out issues of combating sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a conditional enemy and illegal armed formations.
Joint implementation of combat training tasks continues within the framework of the exercise and in the areas of "Maryina Gorka", "Pinsk", "Polessky".
