Colonel Suchkov spoke about the fixation of the Russian missile launch system in the United States
Over the past year, the Russian Missile Attack Warning System (SPRN) has recorded tests of space rockets (RCN) with an air launch in the United States, Colonel Sergey Suchkov, head of the Main Center for Missile Attack Warning of the Space Forces of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia, told the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
According to the chief, over the past year more than 70 ballistic missile launches, including hypersonic, and 90 RCN launches have been detected. "The launches were carried out not only from landfills and cosmodromes, but also from aircraft carriers during the US tests of the so—called RCN air launches," the military said.
Suchkov noted that "in January, two tests were opened at once as part of the improvement of missile defense systems by states such as Israel and the People's Republic of China." "The equipment did not fail, the error-free functioning of the radar equipment (radar stations - approx. "Tapes.ru") and command posts made it possible to determine both target missiles and anti-missiles aimed at them on the flight paths," the colonel noted.
In the same interview, Suchkov noted that the Russian SPRN will be completely updated by 2030.
