MOSCOW, Feb 15 - RIA Novosti. Russia considers Warsaw's proposal to resume a dialogue on European security in the OSCE interesting, but negotiations with the United States and NATO on security guarantees remain a priority for Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"In the context of the search for ways to overcome the growing tensions in the Euro-Atlantic area, we also discussed the initiative of the Polish chairmanship, which proposed to start an informal renewed dialogue on Euro-security in the OSCE. We consider this proposal interesting because it shows an understanding of the existing problems and a desire to do something to remove these problems from the agenda," Lavrov said after talks with Polish Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Zbigniew Rau.
"But I reminded that at this stage the main thing is our dialogue with the United States and our dialogue with the North Atlantic Alliance, where we discuss long-term legal guarantees of security," Lavrov added.
