Moscow. February 15th. INTERFAX - The Astra Group of Companies (GC) has signed a partnership agreement with the ASONIKA Research Institute (SRI), which is engaged in modeling radio electronics, the press service of the Astra Group reported.

"The agreement provides for the implementation of work packages aimed at verifying and ensuring full compatibility of IT solutions created at the ASONIKA Research Institute and the Astra Group of Companies," the report says.

As part of the agreement, it is planned to officially certify products within the framework of the Ready for Astra Linux IT manufacturers cooperation program, work together in the areas of formation, implementation and maintenance of domestic high-tech solutions, as well as the participation of Astra GC in the educational process of the Research Institute.

Alexander Shalumov, Director General of the ASONIKA Research Institute, notes that "today the main task is to ensure full compatibility of Russian computer-aided electronics design systems, including the ASONIKA system in terms of virtual tests that meet modern national standards, with Russian operating systems based on Russian processors."

Anton Rudevsky, Head of the Department for Work with Partners of Astra Group, notes: the parties are joining forces "in order to fill the domestic market with fully compatible Russian IT solutions in the near future, which will be able to successfully compete with foreign analogues in terms of functionality, quality and ease of use, and will also be able to meet the needs of any customer."

"Domestic radio electronics is actively developing now, and it is very important to ensure correct collaboration of all software and hardware solutions at the production stage. Only in this case it is possible to effectively use import-independent technologies and develop our own economy," Rudevsky said, commenting on the signing of the document.

The key areas of activity of the Research Institute "ASONIKA" are complex mathematical modeling of radio-electronic means (RES), creation of maps of operating modes of electronic component base, comprehensive analysis of reliability indicators and creation of digital electronics twins, as well as integration of computer-aided design systems of RES, complex computer modeling and technological preparation of production. In addition, the specialists of the Research Institute are engaged in the creation and implementation of an automated system for ensuring the reliability and quality of ASONIKA equipment in accordance with the requirements of CALS technologies at the design, production and operation stages.

Also, the Institute actively conducts educational activities: the development of teaching methods for automated design and complex computer modeling of RES, there are refresher courses and retraining for specialized specialists. On the basis of the ASONIKA Research Institute in Vladimir, the ASONIKA Competence Center has been created in the field of modeling and virtual testing of electronic component base and electronic equipment for external influences.
