The Ministry of Labor has expanded the list of professions for alternative civil service for 2022: this year there will be 127 instead of 124. The draft order of the department on this is undergoing public discussion.
The explanatory note notes that some of the professions previously available have been excluded from the list, but new ones have been added to it. For example, alternative clergy can now work as a pediatrician or dentist in a district or city hospital, an epidemiologist, a courier, a cleaner of rolling stock, an agrochemist, an assistant educator, a district inspector for forest protection, a master for repairing hydraulic structures, a freight forwarder.
But all-terrain vehicle drivers, janitors, animal breeders, animal breeders, sailors, communication operators, postmen, bath maintenance workers, car repair fitters and tractor drivers are excluded from the list of professions alternative to military service. This year, such positions of employees as an architect, librarian, biologist, a forensic medical expert, a health center doctor, a special school teacher, an athlete instructor were also not included in it.
It is noted that proposals for alternative civil service in 2022 were submitted by five federal executive authorities and 78 regional ones. In total, young people will be able to pass it in 1034 Russian organizations.
