Live firing within the framework of the Russian-Belarusian exercises "Allied Determination" will be held on February 19. On Tuesday, February 15, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Igor Konashenkov, told reporters.
"A live firing stage is planned at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground on February 19," Konashenkov said.
According to the representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, during these exercises, the Marine brigade, together with formations and military units of the Armed Forces of Belarus, will work out the tasks of conducting defensive combat and performing maneuvers in other directions. He noted that foreign military attaches were invited to practical actions during the exercises.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense noted that the units of the Southern and Western Military districts, which have already completed their tasks within the framework of the exercises, have begun loading onto rail and road transport and will begin moving to their military garrisons on February 15.
On February 12, Russia and Belarus held joint artillery exercises. Consolidated divisions of gunners within the framework of the exercises during the tactical episode raffle struck the positions of the conditional enemy. The exercises were held at the Osipovichsky training ground in the Mogilev region of Belarus. The military also trained the change of combat positions.
On February 10, Russia and Belarus launched the joint exercises "Allied Resolve - 2022", aimed at testing the reaction forces of the Union State. The maneuvers take place at combined-arms training grounds in Belarus. The maneuvers are arranged for high-quality testing of tasks "to suppress and repel external aggression during a defensive operation, as well as to counter terrorism and protect the interests of the Union State."
On February 3, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said that one of the goals of the joint exercises of Russia and Belarus is the need to strengthen the border with Ukraine. He also clarified that Minsk is ready to create new combat training centers with Moscow to master the latest weapons. According to the President of Belarus, the country "again, it is critically important to master them and be able to use them."
