TSAMTO, February 15. Canada will provide Ukraine with rifles, machine guns, pistols and 1.5 million rounds of ammunition, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Canadian Ministry of Defense.
Earlier, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a decision to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons in the amount of 7.8 million kan. dollars (6.1 million US dollars).
"Canada will transfer lethal weapons and various means of support to Ukraine in the amount of more than 7 million kan. dollars as military assistance. The equipment includes machine guns, pistols, 1.5 million rounds of ammunition, rifles, including sniper rifles, and various related means," the statement reads.
