The Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CTA) is completing work on a new book dedicated to the current security problems of equatorial and sub-equatorial Africa. The authors of the publication analyze the place and role of the African continent in the foreign policy of Russia and other leading non-regional actors (Great Britain, the EU, the USA, China and France), assess the economic potential of the states of Western, Eastern and Central Africa in terms of their needs for high-tech military, dual and civilian products. In addition, the book describes typical problems of African countries in the field of defense and security.
