MOSCOW, Feb 13 - RIA Novosti. The OSCE should become a universal organization that deals with security and cooperation in Europe, and not play the role of a tool, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian leader, told RIA Novosti.
"Again, it is very important that the OSCE cease to play the role of a tool, so that it becomes a universal organization that really deals with security and cooperation in Europe, which is not such a divider into first-class and second-class countries," Peskov said.
According to him, all the proposals of Russian President Vladimir Putin, made in the Munich speech 15 years ago, are relevant, including for the OSCE.
"Yes, listen, absolutely everything. We are now saying that the role of the OSCE should increase. Moreover, in the context of this series of consultations on security guarantees, there were also consultations on the Moscow-OSCE line," he said.
