TSAMTO, February 11. Two more planes with American weapons arrived in Kiev on the night of February 11, they delivered, among other things, Javelin anti-tank missile systems.
This, as RIA Novosti reports, was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov.
The total weight of the military cargo delivered on two planes was about 130 tons. In general, at the moment, 15 American aircraft with a total weight of more than 1,200 tons have delivered military cargo to Boryspil Airport.
As Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrid Shimonite stated on February 10 at a press conference following a meeting with her Ukrainian counterpart Denis Shmigal, portable Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems from Lithuania will arrive in Ukraine in the coming days.
In addition, as the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Vadim Prystaiko reported on February 10, Kiev appealed to London with a request for the supply of air defense systems, the request is being processed.
As the agency notes, since 2014, NATO countries led by the United States have been supplying weapons to Ukraine and training its military, which directly violates the Minsk agreements and negatively affects the settlement in Donbass. The United States, Great Britain, Canada, France, Poland, Turkey, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia participate in deliveries totaling billions of dollars.
The United States supplied Ukraine with Javelin anti-tank missile systems, patrol boats, sniper rifles and counter-battery radar stations, the United Kingdom - NLAW anti-tank grenade launchers, Turkey - Bayraktar TB2 attack drones. Ukraine and the United Kingdom signed a memorandum that provides for the joint design and construction of warships on the territory of the two countries and the construction of two bases of the Ukrainian Navy.
