Hong Kong. February 11. INTERFAX - North Korea has condemned the criticism of the European Union in connection with a series of missile launches carried out by the DPRK last month.
"We categorically condemn and reject this, as it is a blatant encroachment on our sovereignty and an unacceptable act of interference in the internal affairs of our country," Yonhap quoted a message published on the website of the DPRK Foreign Ministry.
It notes that Pyongyang's measures to increase the country's defense capability "do not pose a threat or harm to neighboring countries and the region."
Earlier, the EU condemned the DPRK's missile tests and called them a threat to international and regional peace and security.
