MOSCOW, Feb 10 - RIA Novosti. The marines of the Eastern Military District (VVO) of Russia at the exercises "Allied Determination-2022" worked out the destruction of conditional militants, the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters.
"During a joint exercise with the units of the Air Force Marine Corps at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground (Belarus), practical actions were worked out to detect, block and destroy illegal armed formations in urban conditions," the department said.
Objects marking city buildings and structures were equipped at the landfill. The military trained to look for potential traps and improvised explosive devices and secretly move in groups.
The classes ended with shooting from small arms. To disguise firing positions, special attention was paid to "the use of various structural elements and improvised means."
Joint exercises began today at the combined arms ranges of the Belarusian Armed Forces. They mark the second stage of the verification of the reaction forces of the Union State, which will last until February 20. The goal is to work out the reflection of external aggression and terrorist attacks.
