The Russian authorities are ready to supply their colleagues from Belarus with whatever weapons they deem possible. This was stated by Russian Ambassador Boris Gryzlov.
"We will supply the weapons that we consider possible, this is a generally accepted practice to strengthen our allied grouping and our western border," Gryzlov said during a speech on the Rossiya 24 channel.
The Ambassador added that the issue of military-technical cooperation between the two countries was discussed at a meeting between President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
Earlier, the Belarusian authorities stated that they are ready to create joint training and combat centers, on the basis of which the development of modern weapons will take place.
