The head of the Military Topographic Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - the head of the Topographic Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Major General Alexander Zaliznyuk, said that more than 20 R&D projects on the noise immunity of navigation support facilities have been planned until 2030.
"For the period up to 2030, more than 20 research and development works have been planned for the research and development of advanced noise-proof navigation aids," said the head of the topographic service.
A. Zaliznyuk noted that "it is also envisaged to develop specialized navigation equipment for individual use for missile troops and artillery, airborne troops and aviation."
"The implementation of these measures will allow us to achieve the long-term requirements of the troops (forces) for navigation support for the next decade," the Information and Mass Communications Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation quotes the head of the VTU of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
