The General Staff of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Cossack Society signed an agreement on cooperation in attracting Cossacks to the mobilization reserve of the country, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the VSKO.
The agreement prescribes the procedure for interaction of the registered Cossacks with the leadership of military districts and commissariats of the subjects of the Russian Federation. It was signed by the ataman of the VSKO Cossack General Nikolai Doluda and the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Colonel-General Yevgeny Burdinsky.
The All-Russian ataman will be able to directly direct the activities of the Cossacks who will be involved in the mobilization reserve, coordinate the selection of candidates who are in reserve, work with conscripts. Under the terms of the contract, as a reservist, he will combine his work in civilian life with military field training and training sessions.
