Military scientists will carry out more than 20 research and development works on the creation of noise-proof navigation aids by 2030.
This was announced by the head of the Military Topographic Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, the head of the Topographic Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Alexander Zaliznyuk.
"For the period up to 2030, more than 20 research and development works have been planned for the research and development of advanced noise-proof navigation aids," Zaliznyuk said.
According to him, it is also planned to develop specialized navigation equipment for individual use for missile troops and artillery, airborne troops and aviation, Interfax writes.
"The implementation of these measures will make it possible to achieve the long-term requirements of the troops (forces) for navigation support for the next decade," the Major General stressed.
