Donetsk. February 7. INTERFAX - Ukrainian nationalists and Polish mercenaries have been deployed to the contact line in Donbass, said Eduard Basurin, a representative of the People's militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.
"The Ukrainian command is not just strengthening its grouping near the DPR, but is forming assault groups of ideologically motivated nationalists," Basurin told reporters on Monday.
He added that intelligence received information about "the arrival of Polish mercenaries in the area of the so-called operation of the joint forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
"In the area of Popasnaya, the presence of two armed groups of up to 20 people in mixed tactical clothing was noted. During the additional investigation, it was established that these persons speak Polish," the representative of the People's militia said.
