"The educational and methodological center of military-patriotic education "Avangard" has been opened on the basis of the College of Architecture and Construction of Kaspiysk in the Republic of Dagestan," the message says.
The center in Kaspiysk is the first of 20 "Avangard" centers being created in the hundred-thousandth cities, the press service reported. Work is also continuing on the development of six regional centers of military-patriotic education. In March of this year, it is planned to open the Avangard center in Ingushetia.
According to the press service, the task of the center is to develop a team spirit, a sense of responsibility for themselves and their loved ones, to cultivate leadership qualities and to introduce the novelties of the defense industry and the peculiarities of service in the army.
The press service added that the training camps with the participants in the "Avangard" are held for five days in the mode of intensive theoretical, practical and sports classes. Everyone is provided with uniforms, free time is provided for participants, rest and personal medical care are organized. Themed classrooms, barracks, and a canteen are equipped.
