The Kazakh authorities plan to open a permanent representative office of the republic to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Moscow.
This is stated in the draft decree of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, posted on Tuesday in the database of open regulatory legal acts.
"I decide to open a permanent representative office of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the CSTO in Moscow (Russian Federation)," says the draft document, which is under public discussion.
The explanatory note to the decree states that it was developed in order to bring the status of Kazakhstan's plenipotentiary representative in the Permanent Council of the organization in line with the regulatory legal framework of the CSTO and the legislation of the republic in the field of diplomatic service, writes TASS.
The CSTO includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
