Representatives of the CIS CFR discussed the use of a Unified system of state radar identification

TSAMTO, January 31. Representatives of the CIS CFR discussed the application of the Unified State Radar Identification System (SRLO) at the coordination meeting held in Tashkent.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Defense of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Secretariat of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states.

During the meeting, practical aspects of cooperation between the defense departments of the countries on equipping a new generation of national armed forces with the means of the state identification system, improving the level of training of specialists and further improving the regulatory framework for international cooperation were discussed.

Representatives of the CIS CFR Secretariat, which is the main coordinator of the development of the Unified GRLO System, informed the participants of the meeting about upcoming events of the current year and proposals for the future.

Also during the meeting, experts worked out the idea of holding an educational and methodological gathering on the basis of the Krasnodar Higher Military School named after Army General S.M.Shtemenko in the second half of this year, and also supported the proposal of the CIS CFR Secretariat to organize an international scientific and practical conference on topical issues of interaction in 2023.

At the end of the coordination meeting, experts in the field of state identification as part of an integrated group began to check the formations and military units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the organization of the use of a Unified system of remote sensing, ensuring the safety of the use of classified identification equipment and key documentation for it.

The main purpose of the work of the integrated group is to verify the reliability of the functioning of the national segment of the Unified GRLO System in the Republic of Uzbekistan and, if necessary, to provide assistance, as well as to exchange experience of specialists of the armed forces of the CIS member states in the operation of EU GRLO facilities.

Such events are being held in the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first time, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
