The British authorities are considering all options for sanctions
London. January 30th. INTERFAX - The British authorities in the event of a "Russian attack on Ukraine" will be ready to consider any options for helping Kiev, British Foreign Minister Liz Truss said on Sunday.
"We do not rule out anything," she said on Sky News, answering the question of what kind of assistance London would be ready to provide to Ukraine in such a scenario.
Truss recalled that the UK is already supplying Ukraine with weapons necessary for defensive combat operations.
Truss also noted that London can act "against any company that is of interest to the Kremlin."
Answering the question about whether the British authorities can confiscate the real estate of large Russian businessmen within the framework of sanctions, the minister said: "we are considering all options."
Truss also said that due to the tense situation in eastern Europe, London is offering to deploy additional forces in Estonia. In addition, according to her, the British Air Force has become more active over the Black Sea.
