Paris. January 29. INTERFAX - French Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly spoke in favor of dialogue and a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis, while recalling France's readiness to deploy a military force in Romania.
"The dialogue continues, and we are convinced that it is through dialogue, through diplomatic and political solutions that we must resolve this conflict," the defense minister said on Saturday on France Inter radio station.
"The President of the Republic, together with other leaders, mobilized all forces to come to de-escalation," the minister said.
At the same time, she recalled the statement of the head of state Emmanuel Macron that "France is ready, if NATO makes such a decision, to deploy military elements in Romania, a neighboring country with Ukraine."
