The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Gulevich said that when developing the idea of checking the reaction forces of the Union State on the territory of the republic, an analysis of the development of events that took place around Belarus in 2020, the crisis situation in Kazakhstan was taken into account.
"When developing the concept of verification, an analysis of the developments that took place around our country in 2020, all unfriendly messages and unjustified concentration of troops, as well as the development of the crisis situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan were taken into account," he said at a briefing for the defense attache of foreign states accredited to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, TASS writes, referring to the press service of the military department.
