Moscow. January 27. INTERFAX - Russia and China do not seek to conclude a military alliance, but this does not exclude their cooperation in the military sphere, said Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
"We have no military alliance with the People's Republic of China, and no one is striving for this," he said in an interview with a number of Russian media, including Interfax.
"But this does not exclude, of course, cooperation in various spheres - in the military-technical sphere, and holding various exercises. Here they were just recently at sea and in other places," Medvedev continued.
According to him, "as you know, there is such an advanced strategic partnership between Russia and China that we are absolutely satisfied with."
At the same time, Medvedev drew attention to the fact that relations between Russia and China are an important factor in international relations, and the United States and European countries are closely watching them.
