Blinken explained to the Chinese Foreign Minister the risks of Russia's invasion of Ukraine - State Department

Washington. January 27. INTERFAX - US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in an interview with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, explained to his Chinese counterpart the global risks to security and the economy in the event of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the State Department said.

"Secretary Blinken explained the global security and economic risks associated with further Russian aggression against Ukraine," the statement said.

At the same time, the Secretary of State noted that "de-escalation and diplomacy are responsible ways" to resolve the crisis.
