Washington. January 27. INTERFAX - The issue of NATO expansion is currently not relevant, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Stere believes.
"I don't see NATO expansion on the agenda today," Stere said in an interview with the Associated Press.
Speaking about the possible entry into the alliance of Sweden and Finland, the Norwegian Prime Minister stressed that it should be "their free choice."
"No one else can come from outside and dictate their choice," he said.
Regarding the situation around Ukraine, Stere said that important issues for people should be discussed at the negotiating table, and not to hold "this kind of military demonstration."
