The second batch of American weapons with a total weight of more than 80 tons has been delivered to Ukraine. This was announced on Sunday by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov. The first batch of American weapons was accepted in Kiev on January 22.

The batch of American weapons delivered to Ukraine on January 22 included Javelin ATGM and M141 Bunker Defeat Munition (SMAW-D) thermobaric rocket launchers designed to destroy fortifications and bunkers.
It should be noted that on the eve of Lithuania transferred military assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military received bulletproof vests and ballistic belts.
Earlier, Poland promised to help Ukraine in case of an attack by Russia. Ukraine does not want to be part of the "Russian world", and other states should support it in this, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau said. He also stressed that NATO should strengthen the policy of deterrence in Europe.
